Ash.T 2023

Bio - the short version

Ashlee Tenberge (MICDA) is a proactive leader in the Australian for-purpose sector and an experienced corporate business partner.

She currently works full-time in Sydney for a small tech organisation, TidyHQ, an organisation she was familiar with having used the technology for a number of years in volunteer organisations. She manages executive programs for the CEO, along with many varied projects including meeting governance, event management, strategy planning, customer support and operational improvement programs. Prior to making the move to Tidy, Ashlee worked for the global tech company GoTo for 10 years supporting the Asia Pacific Regional Vice President.

Ashlee is a Director for the International Council of Multiple Birth Organisations (ICOMBO), a membership based organisation with representatives from all over the world. In 2022, Ashlee joined the newly created charity, Donor Conceived Australia as a member of the donor conceived community. She is actively involved in governance and developing the foundations of a strong organisation that can further progress regulatory, legislative and policy change for donor conceived people in Australia. In May 2023 Ashlee took on a newly created role of Team Lead, Conference and Education Series team with the remit of leading a team of volunteers in managing and coordinating speaking engagements, awareness sessions and developing training material for Donor Conceived Australia. Until recently, she managed strategic projects for the Hydrocephalus Support Association (HSA) for two years, and also co-ordinated a variety of other association projects including website development, conference marketing and awareness activity.

Ashlee is the past Chairperson of the Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA), a voluntary director role she held for 5 years. She was a director for 8 years in total, having been elected in 2013 into the Technology portfolio. Ashlee has been involved at grassroots club level for 12 years, holding committee positions in her local affiliated member-club and on the AMBA NSW state committee for 5 years.

She has a curiosity for the nuances of associations and the for-purpose sector, searching for lessons that can be learned and applying broad knowledge around member engagement, organisational efficiency and value based conversations to enable the continued progress of Australian associations.

When not setting off the fire alarm with her less-than-impressive cooking prowess, Ashlee will not be found anywhere near the garden—unless it’s to sit and relax with a coffee while listening to a podcast on Spotify.
