I've spent more than 20 years working across technology, healthcare, community organisations and governance - often alongside senior leaders, and across the boundaries of different roles and teams.

That means I tend to notice the gaps: where priorities don't quite connect, where ownership is unclear, where a process works on paper but not in practice, or where the same conversation keeps happening without moving anything forward.

HOW I WORK

I notice.

I question.

I connect.

I clarify.

I move.

I ask questions, connect the pieces and work out what will help move things forward.

THE PATH SO FAR

My career makes more sense when you look at the thread, not the job titles.

Technology

Making complex work workable

Healthcare

Connecting systems with reality

Community

Turning purpose into action

Governance

Creating clarity for decisions

Different environments. Same pattern.

01

When work is stuck

When there’s plenty of discussion but not enough movement, I help make the work visible, clarify what actually needs deciding, and create enough structure to move forward.

02

When the pieces don’t join up

Seeing dependencies, gaps and competing priorities across teams, then connecting the pieces so people can work from the same picture.

03

When there isn’t a playbook

Working out what needs to exist - a framework, governance rhythm, process or decision path - and building something practical enough to use.

SELECTED WORK

What this looks like in practice.

From frustration to a governance overhaul

GOVERNANCE · AMBA

An AGM process that clearly wasn’t working became the catalyst for rethinking how constitutional change was developed, consulted on and brought to members.

The work: Constitutional review · Member consultation · Decision frameworks · AGM governance

Turning moving parts into a way forward

TECHNOLOGY · GOTO

In a global technology business, work rarely sat neatly within one function. I worked across leaders to connect priorities, make dependencies visible and create enough structure for people to make decisions and keep work moving.

The work:
Cross-functional programs · Stakeholder alignment · Decision-making · Change

From recurring discussion to visible action

DELIVERY · HEALTHDIRECT

A complex piece of work had become stagnant, with the same discussions recurring and no clear decision authority. I made the work visible, clarified actions and ownership, and introduced simple planning tools to create momentum.

The work: Decision clarity · MS Planner · Action ownership · Delivery planning

    STORIES & INSIGHTS

Some things need more room to think.

I write about the things I notice, the questions I can't quite leave alone, and the ideas that keep following me around - across work, people, identity and everything in between.

    THINKING & PERSPECTIVE · 24 JUNE 2026

For years, my career looked disconnected on paper. Then I stopped looking at the job titles and started looking at the pattern.

    IDENTITY & FAMILY · 14 JULY 2026

For years, being donor conceived was simply a fact about me. Then DNA testing changed what that fact meant.

    ORGANISATIONS & LEADERSHIP · 5 JUNE 2026

I thought better communication would bring people along. It took me much longer to understand that understanding and agreement are not the same thing.
